Beanie Wells Poker Tournament

Royal flush, straight flush, full house, three of a kind. Does it ring a bell? If so, then this is for you: there will be another tournament in the Valley happening this 25th of October in East Camelback Rd  Scottsdale AZ: the Beanie Wells Poker Tournament. As the name suggests it will be hosted by the well-known National Football League and Arizona Cardinals player no other than Beanie Wells.

Beanie Wells Poker Tournament Beanie Wells Poker Tournament

This is no ordinary tournament rather a good cause for a part of the proceedings will be donated to Make-a-wish Foundation of Arizona. Attendees of the Beanie Wells Poker Tournament will play their chance to win the grand price $10,000.00 seat at the World Series of Poker or two (2) seats to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

All eligible adult Texas Hold 'Em poker enthusiast are invited to join the Beanie Wells Poker Tournament and play with the celebrities and world renowned athletes in this friendly match and at the same time support the Foundation. For registration, there will be a pre-event buy-in donation starting at $175.00, however, if you miss the pre-event donation and decided to register on the day itself, a walk-in registration fee will be at $200.00 or your can either opt for a VIP buy-in of $250.00.

For the benefit of those who does not know how to play Texas Hold 'Em Poker, the game consists of two cards being dealt face down to each player and then five community cards being played face-up by the dealer with the player having an option to check, bet, raise or fold after each card deal. The objective of the game is to compete for the amount of money called “pot” contributed by the players itself.

Make-a-wish Foundation of Arizona on the other hand, began in 1980 in Phoenix when a little young boy being treated with leukemia made a wish to become a police officer for a day. The Officers did not deny the child's wish as they made plans of making this simple wish came true. Not only the boy experienced a tour in the city in the DPS helicopter, he was also awarded as the first and only honorary DPS patrolman in Arizona state. Yet, it doesn't stop there, a custom-tailored uniform was made for the boy to complete the “feel” of being a police officer.

It may be just a simple wish, but for the boy it means internal happiness. It lifted his spirit giving him hope, strength and joy. And from this humble beginning, the Foundation has grown into a world-wide wish granting phenomenon.
And so this coming Thursday’s event, remember more than your presence in the Beanie Wells Poker Tournament and playing to get the winning price, a more intense reason for you to be there is the opportunity to help these children who in their young age faces the battle of a life threatening medical conditions.

Getting a Good Credit Standing

Getting a Good Credit Standing

Getting a Good Credit Standing Getting a Good Credit Standing

As we help people looking to buy or sell Mesa real estate it cannot be denied that with the current economic status, people are striving hard to stretch whatever dollar they have. The endless cycle of lending money to make ends meet; paying for the loan with your salary or from another loan and lending again might cause damage to your good credit standing. Likewise, this situation can be very stressful and results in to many sleepless nights. The mere fact of budgeting and allocating your finances to cover all the necessary household needs along with mortgage and car loans payments can sometimes be burdensome. Getting a good credit standing takes time yet is easily harmed by one wrong move.

The credit score is a numerical expression that represents a person's creditworthiness. In other words, it is the person's capability to pay his/her bills and the likelihood to pay bills on time. Whether you are applying for a mortgage, a car loan or as simple as applying for phone service all of this boils down to one thing: the 3-digit number on your credit score. In addition, your credit score dictates the computation of your interest rate of your loan.

It is important to always be aware of your credit standing. Remembering the amount due and due dates are often overlooked causing damage to your credit standing. The years and efforts we put in to establish a good credit score can be ruined in the blink of an eye. The bad part is undoing this damage takes time and there are no shortcuts. There are a few ways on how you can avoid this or repair your already damaged credit score.

Managing your finances responsibly over time is the key to keeping a good credit standing. You can start by checking your credit report, making sure that there is no incorrect data listed, or the amount you owe for an open account is correct. If it’s not correct you can file a dispute with the credit bureau.

If your problem is due to missed or late payments you can enroll with your bank or from a credit card company to authorize an automatic drafting of the monthly payment. The drawback, however, is that if there are overdrafts for an insufficient fund, the overdraft will also affect your credit standing. You may want to look at overdraft protection with your bank or credit union.

These are quick tips on how you can fix or maintain your credit score. These tips will positively help you get back on track. One is by paying your bills on time and if you have missed payments get current and stay current. Avoid using your card for unnecessary items, better yet, pay in cash. If you're planning on opening a new credit account, make sure to manage it responsibly.

Running away and neglecting your debts is far worse than confronting it. Better fix it now, who knows you might be in need of a house or a car very soon.

Men vs. Women: America's Loveable Property Features

Men vs. Women: America's Loveable Property FeaturesIt’s no secret, men and women are wired differently. But recent research shows that when it comes to features that motivate them to buy, the connection between the sexes is not a battle. We found this to be true when working with client's to find Mesa real estate.

America’s most lovable features

While there’s a small difference in what they love the most, our recent survey showed both men and women agree on which top features make them fall in love with a home.

When we asked first-time home buyers “which home amenity would make you, personally, fall in love with a home?,” here were the top answers

While men and women agree that the master bath, walk-in closet and gourmet kitchen are top priorities when it comes to finding their dream home, not all features are created equal. Among the top features, women and men each showed they had a little more love for a few key features at the top of the list:
